I’ve researched thousands of scholarships sites and scoured the web for scholarships websites that are public and legitimate.

There are hundreds of scholarships opportunities on the web. After scouring the web and visited thousands of universities and educational websites.

What Is Scholarship?

A grant or payment made to support a student’s education, awarded on the basis of academic or other achievements. According to Wikipedia, a scholarship is an award of financial aid for a student to further their education. The two most common types of scholarships are merit-based and need-based.

Merit-based scholarships are awarded to students who meet certain criteria in their academic performance such as meeting the required minimum GPA.

Need-based type of scholarships is given to students to help them ease some financial stress posed by a high cost of education such as housing expenses, books, research stipend and so on.

This is a programme that is introduced for the purpose of helping students with the findings, this is targeting mostly student who wants to study at the tertiary level including Universities and colleges.

Scholarship also refers to as learning; knowledge acquired by study; the academic attainments of a scholar.

In other words, the scholarship includes research that advances theoretical knowledge, the production of a work of art, or professional application of disciplinary knowledge.

Projects might come from independent studies, capstone/senior seminars, honors courses, or courses in which you complete a significant research or creative project.

6. Walmart Dependent Scholarship

Walmart offers a nationwide scholarship opportunity with varies amount of scholarship funds. The Walmart Dependent Scholarship programs offer awards that vary up to $13,000 over the course of four academic years.

Applicants who are eligible are required to complete the application process in order to be evaluated based on academic achievement and financial needs.

About 25% of all eligible applicants are expected to receive scholarships.

7. Christian College Scholarship Drawing

The Christian Connector, Inc offers scholarship awards to Christian undergraduate students nationwide without any essay or recommendations requirement and no minimum GPA. This scholarship is called The Christian College Scholarship Drawing.
